Meet the Team
Diana, Account Manager
Meet Diana! A tourism degree graduate from Makerere University, she joined the team in January 2018 as a Safari Officer. Diana excelled in her role, being promoted to Trainee Account Manager in September 2019 and became our fully fledged Account Manager in January 2020. Diana is ultimately responsible for our b2b accounts; maintaining strong relationships with these organisations, while building and updating their suite of safari packages. She is incredibly passionate about travel, particularly birdlife. She is dedicated to her accounts, ensuring they and their clients receive accurate up to date information, and that they get exactly what they want, when they want it. Behind the scenes she works tirelessly with Joel, and with our suppliers across Uganda, keeping us up to date with all the exciting new accommodations and excursions to make our safari itineraries truly unique and memorable!
Joel, Operations Manager
Meet Joel! After completion of a degree in tourism at Makerere University and an internship in Murchison Falls National Park, he joined the team in January 2018 as a Safari Officer. Following his first busy season of office experience, he was promoted to Trainee Operations Manager in September 2019. A high flier, he completed his training by January 2020, becoming a fully trained Operations Manager. After a detailed briefing from his colleagues, Joel’s role is to effectively deliver all the moving parts of your safari on the ground. From pick-up to drop-off, he liaises with your lodges, activity providers, and safari guides as you navigate through Uganda, keeping your safari on track, transforming your trip on paper into the reality of an experience of a lifetime! Behind the scenes Joel constantly improves our organisational processes and efficient safari delivery, resulting in us offering the best possible services to you!
Robert, Accounts Administrator
Meet Robert! Robert is employed by a reputable advisory firm based in Kampala and sits in our office for three days a week as an Accounts Administrator. Robert joined the team in July 2019, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team. You won't directly hear too much from Robert, as he isn't in a client-facing role but is working hard behind the scenes. Robert reports directly to the directors and his role is to administrate monthly management financials, bookkeeping, reconciliations and balances, along with monthly tax compliance and assisting with audits. However he is in charge of the invoices requested for you by Diana, our Account Manager and is here for you if you have any issues with the payment processes.
Isaac, Safari Guide
Meet Yiga Abdu, known to his friends as Isaac!
Isaac has been guiding safari's around Uganda since his first trip to Murchison Falls National Park in 2004. Since then he has guided travellers to every corner of Uganda, with his favourite destination being Murchison Falls National Park due to the high levels of wildlife diversity and stunning landscapes. Over this time Isaac has built up a broad knowledge of his country and consistently receives high praise from travellers for his experience, friendly manner and of course enthusiasm! He especially favours the wildlife drives because it gives him the chance to share his experience with his guests. He always hopes to spot lions on safari as he’s always impressed at their hunting techniques.
Isaac of course also shares your love of travel having also visited Kenya in 2010, Rwanda in 2018 and Burundi in 2019, then one day hopes to visit the United Kingdom. During his spare time he enjoys travelling back to his home village of Gomba, where he likes to farm greens, apples and cabbages!
Frank, Safari Guide
Meet Kavuma Frank, known to his friends as Kabaka!
Kabaka has been guiding safari’s around Uganda since his first trip to Murchison Falls National Park in 2008. Since then he has guided travellers to every corner of Uganda, with his favourite destination being Murchison Falls National Park due to the high density of wildlife, the waterfall and rainforest of Bundongo. Over this time Kabaka has built up a broad knowledge of the country and consistently receives high praise from travellers for his experience, friendly manner and of course enthusiasm! He especially favours the wildlife drives because he can interact with his guests. He also always hopes to spot lions on safari because he likes the way that it hunts the antelope.
Kabaka of course also shares your love of travel having also visited D.R. Congo in 2004, Rwanda in 2011 and Kenya in 2012, and hopes one day to visit Kruger National Park in South Africa. During his spare time he enjoys gardening, especially growing cabbages and tomatoes.
Tom, Safari Guide
Meet Mutike Tom, known to his friends as Tom!
Tom has been guiding safari’s around Uganda since his first trip to Murchison Falls National Park in 2015. Since then he has guided travellers to every corner of Uganda, with his favourite destination being Murchison Falls National Park due to the high diversity and number of wildlife and the rushing waters of the river Nile. Over this time Tom has built up a broad knowledge of the country and consistently receives high praise from travellers for his experience, friendly manner and of course enthusiasm! He especially favours the gorilla tracking and watching the baby gorillas swing from the trees. He always hopes to spot giraffes on safari because he loves the way they move across the savannah.
Tom of course also shares your love of travel having also visited D.R. Congo in 2018, Rwanda in 2019 and Kenya in 2019, then one day hopes to visit Germany. During his spare time he enjoys football training and supporting Uganda’s national team the Uganda Cranes.
Jonathan, Safari Guide
Meet Nteza Jonathan, known to his friends as Jonathan!
Jonathan has been guiding safari’s around Uganda since his first trip to Murchison Falls National Park in 2014. Since then he has guided travellers to every corner of Uganda, with his favourite destination being Murchison Falls National Park due to its high wildlife population size, expansive size and diversity of activities. Over this time Jonathan has built up a broad knowledge of the country and consistently receives high praise from travellers for his experience, friendly manner and of course enthusiasm! He especially favours taking wildlife drives because it allows him to share his knowledge and interact with his guests. He always hopes to spot giraffes on safari because of their impressive height.
Jonathan of course also shares your love of travel having also visited Rwanda in 2018, then one day hopes to visit the United Kingdom. During his spare time he enjoys travelling either solo or with friends, he just loves to keep moving!
Richard, Safari Guide
Meet Richard Nsamba, known to his friends as Richard!
Richard has been guiding safari’s around Uganda since his first trip to Murchison Falls National Park in 2013. Since then he has guided travellers to every corner of Uganda, with his favourite destination being Murchison Falls National Park due to the plentiful wildlife and unspoilt landscapes. Over this time Richard has built up a broad knowledge of the country and consistently receives high praise from travellers for his experience, friendly manner and of course enthusiasm! He especially favours bird watching because of the concentration and knowledge it requires. He also always hopes to spot giraffes on safari because it’s a calm peaceful animal.
Richard of course also shares your love of travel having also visited Kenya in 2018, Tanzania in 2018, Ethiopia in 2018, Rwanda in 2019 and Germany in 2019, then hopes one day to visit the Maldives. During his spare time he enjoys going to the pub with friends, reading and watching wildlife documentaries.
Ibrah, Safari Guide
Meet Mugerwa Ibrah, known to his friends as Ibrah!
Ibrah has been guiding safari’s around Uganda since his first trip to Murchison Falls National Park in 2013. Since then he has guided travellers to every corner of Uganda, with his favourite destination being Kidepo Valley National Park due to the park being home to different wildlife species compared to Uganda’s other savannah parks. Over this time Ibrah has built up a broad knowledge of the country and consistently receives high praise from travellers for his experience, friendly manner and of course enthusiasm! He especially favours the gorilla tracking because of the thrill the first time you see them. He always hopes to spot zebras on safari because he loves the pattern of their coats.

Muhammad, Safari Guide
Meet Mubiru Muhammad, known to his friends as Medi!
Medi has been guiding safari’s around Uganda since his first trip to Murchison Falls National Park in 2015. Since then he has guided travellers to every corner of Uganda, with his favourite destination being Murchison Falls National Park due to the thundering waterfall. Over this time Medi has built up a broad knowledge of the country and consistently receives high praise from travellers for his experience, friendly manner and of course enthusiasm! He especially favours taking guests on wildlife drives because of the new wildlife surprises you gain exploring the tracks. He always hopes to spot giraffes on safari because of it’s gentle nature and unique behaviours.
Medi of course also shares your love of travel having also visited Kenya in 2018 and Rwanda in 2019, then hopes one day to visit The Death Valley National Park in the United States of America. During his spare time he enjoys reading wildlife articles and swimming.
Baker, Safari Guide
Meet Ssebude Abubaker, known to his friends as Baker!
Baker has been guiding safari’s around Uganda since his first trip to Lake Mburo National Park in 2014. Since then he has guided travellers to every corner of Uganda, with his favourite destination being Murchison Falls National Park due to the large numbers of wildlife and extensive trails to explore. Over this time Baker has built up a broad knowledge of the country and consistently receives high praise from travellers for his experience, friendly manner and of course enthusiasm! He especially favours the Murchison Falls waterfall hike because it’s great exercise with rewarding views. He also always hopes to spot lions on safari because it always makes his guests happy.
Baker of course also shares your love of travel having also visited Kenya in 2018 and Rwanda in 2018, then one day hopes to visit the United States of America, including Alaska. During his spare time he also runs a mobile money shop.
Patrick, Safari Guide
Meet Lubyayi Patrick, known to his friends as Patrick!
Patrick has been guiding safari’s around Uganda since his first trip to Murchison Falls National Park in 2016. Since then he has guided travellers to every corner of Uganda, with his favourite destination being Murchison Falls National Park due to the impressive Murchison Falls waterfall. Over this time Patrick has built up a broad knowledge of the country and consistently receives high praise from travellers for his experience, friendly manner and of course enthusiasm! He especially favours the nature walk in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with the Batwa because of the stunning rainforest views and the chance to learn about Batwa culture. He also always hopes to spot lions on safari because they’re the emblem of his clan.
Patrick of course also shares your love of travel having also visited Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda in 2019, then hopes one day to visit Germany. During his spare time he enjoys working on cars and going to car rallies!
